Jake Mendes

After graduating in 2010 with his BA in Musical Theater and Dance from the University of Northern Colorado, Jake moved to New York City to pursue a career in performance. In 2012, Jake was cast in a play in which he needed to be completely naked... so he started working out a little harder... which sparked his love of and passion for fitness, working his way from one-on-one personal training to becoming a fitness manager, and eventually a regional onboarding administrator for Crunch Fitness in NYC.

Since moving back in January of 2015, Jake has served as the assistant Theater Director and Choreographer for Green Mountain High School (his alma mater) and has continued his passion for the arts in addition to his fitness career, taking part as an actor and choreographer in several performances throughout the Denver Metro area. He is continuing in the fitness industry as an elite level coach for Orangetheory Fitness.

In addition to everything, Jake is working toward his Master's Degree from The University of Denver in Arts Development and Program Management.
